Torean Trekking Program 3 Days 2 Nights

Torean trekking program is the best to explore all sides of Mount Rinjani. The trekking will start from the Torean trekking trail and return by Sembalun village. The Summit Rinjani program for 3 days will give you the best trekking experience and adventure trek.

Overview of Torean Trekking program:

  • Enjoy the jungle atmosphere with bird sounds, and wild animals ( black monkey, brown monkey, etc )
  • Spectacular view of Gili’s, Senaru village, and green tropical forest from Cemara Lima
  • Unique Lake of Segara Anak and hot spring water

  • Deluxe service gives travelers more convenient facilities. Softer and thicker mattresses for sleeping, covered toilet shelters, and high-quality food.
  • Standard services.  The service uses communal trekking equipment. Ideal for trekkers who are used to a rustic and basic trekking experience.
Itinerary Torean trekking program :

Day 01. Lunch and dinner at the mountain.

  • Breakfast at our Restaurant at 6 am
  • Registration at the RTC ( Rinjani Trekking Centre, Torean 585m )
  • Prepare for trekking at 07.00 – 08.00 AM
  • Walking in the open views for 30-40 minutes to the gate at 779 m with green plants of coffee trees, Bamboo, etc
  • After passing, walk 30 -40 minutes more to the gate of the tropical rain forest, 15 minutes for a short break.
  • Continue walking through the jungle.
  • Walk for 1 hour 15 minutes to POS 1 ( 821m ), seeing black monkeys and big trees on the trail.
  • A short break at Post I.
  • Climb up for 2 hours to POS 2 ( 1.078 m)
  • Pass the tropical forest, Break at POS 2, and prepare your lunch, fresh fruits, and soft drinks with our Guide and porter.
  • After lunch, we continued walking up to the post 3 route passed by a beautiful waterfall ( Penimbungan waterfall 1,299m), and took about 2 hours walk.
  • After a break at Penimbungan waterfall and post 3, we continue walking up to post 4 ( Babanan Propok 1,585m )
  • From Pos 4, we will walk down the hill for 2 hours.
  • Camping and overnight at the lake, enjoy amazing views of the new baby volcano and the lake

Day 02: Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner at the mountain

  • Breakfast and enjoy the view of Segara Anak Lake
  • Prepare to climb up to the crater rim of Sembalun after lunch, 3 hours up and down trails
  • Camping at the crater rim of Sembalun. Enjoy the sunset over the Lake, the summit, and the view of Sembalun village.
  • Dinner and overnight at crater RIM Sembalun ( 2.639M

Day 03. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at the mountain.

  • Wake up at 02.30 AM for a light breakfast.
  • Start climbing to the Summit of Rinjani at 03.00 AM.
  • Heading Summit Rinjani ( 3.726m ), walking time approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes
  • Enjoy the sunrise from the summit, you can see all of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
  • Back to camp to get breakfast and take a rest
  • Walk down to Sembalun village, takes 5 hours to get to Sembalun village
  • Lunch ( fresh fruit and snacks) will be at POS 3 or POS 2.
  • Transfer to Senaru, return to Mount Rinjani Trekking office for the 1-hour drive
  • Transfer to the next destination ( Bangsal Harbor, Senggigi, or Mataram )
  • End of service.

  1. Small backpack size, minimum 25 – 35 kg
  2. Trekking shoes/trail running shoes
